About Smugglers Bay!
It all started with Ben in 1994 when the InterNet was New! Ben is the Get-Er-Done cranky old Marine sergeant at the Bay. At UC Santa Barbara, he majored in Computer Sciences, Large-Scale Logistic Support, and beach parties of unprecedented debauchery. His experience with the Dept of the Navy as Project Engineer for Missile Target Support Equipment ensures you will get your Web & SEO services on time, or heads will role. He and his Harley ARE the terror of the neighborhood (anything that moves at Leisure Village is terrifying!) Originally from Ventura, there are few places on this planet that he has not seen from the gutter to the Ritz, danced under the moon, awoke naked on the beach, or viewed from behind the bars on the windows. There are few places left that will allow him to return - come to think of it!
Company Profile
Ben's partner in all this is Rose Mary, formerly of Michigan, provides that woman's touch and eye for art & design so critical to business these days. Her love of mom & pop shops and all things Victorian softens Ben's cut and dry approach to Smugglers Bay. Having visited hundreds of small businesses and meeting hundreds of new owners, Rose Mary & Ben found many struggling to run their business while trying to create and maintain a web site. The owners of these small businesses knew what to do with their businesses, but were tired of getting the run around by some nerd supposedly working on their web site, or having to learn to program to create and/or maintain their web site.
Mari is our business consultant and also from Michigan. She gives us the youngster's view point on our designs
and approaches. She majored in Business at LSU and has managed one of the largest hotel on the waterfront of San Diego. Her
familiarity with social networking is an invaluable resource here at The Bay! Besides, she keeps old Ben in check and on course.
